VOTING SYSTEM USED IN
TULARE COUNTY
Tulare County uses the Sequoia Voting Systems Insights for precinct vote tabulation. In many areas more than one precinct will be voting at the same location sharing an Insight. The Insight vote tabulation device is a small electronic counting unit located on top of a ballot box. As each voted ballot is inserted into the device the votes are recorded internally. Results are not available until after the polls close at 8:00 P.M.
HOW TO VOTE
1. At the precinct board table, you will sign the roster and receive your ballot from the poll workers.
2. Take your ballot and voting pen to a voting booth.
3. To vote your ballot complete the arrow(s)
to the right of your choice(s). See Example A below.
4. When you are finished voting, take your ballot to the ballot box and insert your ballot into the Insight voting machine (see photo below). Please wait until the ballot is processed to make sure no voting errors have occurred. If an error does occur and a message will print to let you know what the problem is.
